About This Course
This training is aimed at educating learners on the different aspects of a pregnancy such as birth defects, signs of a healthy pregnancy and much more. This will enable learners to aid in healthy pregnancies by utilizing evidence-based practices.
It will also help in identifying and preventing birth defects.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
Describe fetal development during a healthy pregnancy
Identify the function of a placenta
Describe the most common birth defects

There are no prerequisites for this course. No prior experience or knowledge is required to take this course.

This course is brought to you by the Maternal Child Health Training Program at the Michael and Susan Dell Center for Healthy Living through a collaboration with the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health (UTHealth) and Grand Valley State University School of Social Work.
