About This Course

This course focuses on nutrition guidelines for infants and toddlers aged 6 to 24 months, and provides caregivers with strategies for improving nutrition in their child. Appropriate nutrition is necessary for growth and development as well as the formation of healthy diet patterns. After this training, you will be able to:

Identify nutrition goals and guidelines for children aged 6-24 months

List the benefits of breast milk and appropriate alternatives

Explain the differences between store-bought and homemade baby food

Recommend food types and serving sizes for children at various stages of development from 6 to 24 months

Requirements

There are no prerequisites for this course. No prior training, knowledge or experience is required to take this course.
