Phil Eke-Okocha
Phil is Project Lead of the Local pathways fellowship at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network - Youth initiative. A responsible consumption and Peace advocate, his background combines communication and economic development. He is also a research fellow at Rondine Cittadella Della pace where he works with young people from conflict and post-conflict countries to bring about ways of sustainable conflict transformation. In this role, he also mentors and onboards the junior fellows while also connecting with different stakeholders. Phil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and development studies and a Masters’s degree in Global Governance, conflict management, and Humanitarian aid. He is passionate about food security and migration.
Yulia Lesnichaya
Yulia Lesnichaya is a Project Officer of Communications for the Local Pathways Fellowship at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth Initiative. She is currently working as a Communications Consultant at the World Bank Group. A sustainable urban development and responsible consumption advocate, her background combines marketing, communications, and event management. Yulia previously worked at Smart Cities New York & Smart City Expo Atlanta where she delivered events that convened global thought leaders to share effective strategies and tools to deploy smart cities technologies. Yulia holds a Master’s degree in Communications from the City University of New York and a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics, Russia.
Ana Cristina Garcia
Ana Cristina García is a Project Officer for the Local Pathways Fellowship at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth Initiative. Ana brings over ten years of experience working in the public and private sectors in areas such as economic development, finance, business analysis, and logistics. Ana holds a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University, where she focused on climate justice, international human rights, and urban development with a gender perspective. In addition, Ana holds a Bachelor’s in International Business (Summa cum Laude and Valedictorian) from Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico, and a diploma from the Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Troyes, France. She is passionate about empowering youth and women to reach their full potential.
Joseph Sawaya
Joseph Sawaya is the Project Officer of Operations and Fellow engagement for the Local Pathways Fellowship. Starting from the Parisian suburb, he graduated with a Master’s degree in International Law from La Sorbonne University. He also completed a Master in Political Sciences at Sciences Po during which he led a field investigation on the Lebanese Revolution in partnership with the French Institute of the Near-East in Beirut. Previously, Joseph had exercised in advocacy for refugee’s when working at the French National Court of Asylum. While focusing on developing his knowledge on international security and conflicts, he has always been committed beside associations to work on providing a better access to culture for disadvantaged people living in urban areas.

Ana Ynestrillas
Ana Ynestrillas is a Senior Advisor for the Local Pathways Fellowship at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth Initiative. She also as a Program Associate at the Urban Tech Hub and serves as an advisor to Civ:Lab on connecting local innovators with government, academia, business, and community both within their cities and around the world. As a sustainable cities and innovation advocate, her background combines experience from the public, private and non-profit sectors at the intersection of smart cities, innovation ecosystems and sustainable urban development. Previously, Ana worked in the Operations department at Smart Cities in New York, USA. Here, she arranged events that convened global think tanks and leaders to share effective strategies to deploy smart cities technologies. Ana also worked at the NYC Department of Environmental Protection and at Efficiency Matters Corporation where she gained hands on experience and knowledge of the city's infrastructure.
Ellie Kallab
Elie Kallab is a Senior Advisor for the Local Pathways Fellowship. He is a graduate student in the Executive Master in Conflict Management and Humanitarian Action at Siena University in Italy. Elie is a former Local Pathways Fellow for the Local Pathways Fellowship Program - UNSDSN Youth. He worked in the International Education and has submitted policy papers to Australian Government departments. Elie has co-authored a chapter in the book titled Harness it: Renewable Energy Technologies and Project Development Models Transforming the Grid which was endorsed by Prof. Jeffrey Sachs. He is currently co-authoring his new book on Environmental Diplomacy which will be published by Routledge. He has assisted various ministries in organizing large-scale conferences and has served as the Representative Liaison Officer for the UN Youth Australia. Elie has represented the Local Pathways Fellowship program at the Vatican Youth Symposium 2019. He is a former speaker at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations and other events in Italy.
