About This Course
Welcome to the IDB Projects: From design to closure in 90 minutes course!
The core mission of the IDB is to improve people’s lives by accelerating the process of economic and social development in its borrowing member countries. Sovereign guaranteed loan operations are crucial to achieving this objective. In this certified course we will address the core elements of this type of operation.
The course is organized in five modules
Module 1: Context
Module 2: Programming Phase
Module 3: Preparation Phase
Module 4: Execution Phase
Module 5: Closure Phase
Upon completing this course you will be able to:
1. Distinguish the phases of the lifecycle of sovereign guaranteed operations.
2. Understand the main actors, processes, and documents associated with each phase.
