Hi! I'm Anwar, a senior majoring in computer science. Along with 188, I spend a lot of time teaching, both as a part of CSMentors and as a TA for the iOS DeCal. I am also doing research in Berkeley's BiD lab, and spend whatever of my time is left over asleep in whatever sunny, grassy patch I can find.

I'm a fourth year undergrad from New Delhi majoring in CS, Math and Stats. I'm interested in analytics, data science, machine learning and teaching. In my free time, I play soccer and the guitar. I enjoy listening to soft rock (Eric Johnson is my idol) and watching slapstick comedies that most people would find really stupid (Sasha Baron Cohen, for example).

Hello everyone I’m Yuchen, a 4th year undergraduate double majoring in Computer Science and Statistics. I am super fascinated by AI, as well as playing basketball and jamming on my piano. I did some infrastructure stuff at Facebook last summer which was pretty fun. Another interesting fact about me is my favorite TV series is Silicon Valley.

Greetings everyone! I'm a 3rd year in CS from Lubbock, a small town in West Texas. My diet consists of only Soylent, but that doesn't stop me from joining my friends for meals. In the past, I used to longboard around campus, play cello in the orchestra, and watch John Oliver, but since then, became a TA for this class. I'm not a huge fan of memes except for the one with the alien and the ones on /r/me_irl. In the future, I hope to work in computer vision or reinforcement learning so that robots can eventually take over the world. Welcome to CS188, and I can't wait to meet you all!

I'm a junior majoring in EECS. I'm was born in India but have lived in Plano, Texas for a majority of my life. My fields of interest are artificial intelligence (big surprise, right) and machine learning. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, playing basketball, and playing chess. I'm also really into music. I play trombone (not so regularly) and guitar.

Hi everyone - I study EECS, and I love both math and building with code. I was born in Laguna Niguel, a town in Southern California. Fun fact, I started out as a bioengineering major, but switched my sophomore year to EECS. I enjoy listening to music, I used to play viola in the UCBSO, and I have on multiple occasions had fried chicken parties with friends. I look forward to getting to meet you all!

Hello! I am a third year CS major who grew up in Virginia. My hobbies include skiing, tennis, piano, drums, chess, Smash Bros, and League of Legends (been playing for 7 years). I have eccentric tastes for extreme and avant-garde music, art and philosophy. I consider Artificial Intelligence a discipline of intense importance for the historic destiny of humanity and so I am very happy to introduce you all to the field.
